PADI Junior Open Water Diver

The theory gives you the important information to enable you to dive safely and enjoyably. The confined water dives, which are held just off the dock in the beautiful Cays, help you develop the necessary skills to feel safe and confident under the water. This is followed by 4 open water dives which allow you to put everything you have learned into practice, while enjoying tours under the guidance of your instructor on the pristine reefs here on the unspoiled northside of Utila. Class sizes are small. Included in this package are 2 free fundives, which gives you the freedom to fully explore the beautiful underwater seascapes of the island.

PADI Scuba Review
If it’s been three months since your last dive we recommend this refresher course for certified divers. If it’s been more than a year, we require that you take it. You’ll review the skills you learned in the Open Water Course with a PADI Instructor or Divemaster as well as familiarize yourself with the gear. Depending on your comfort level, you can review the skills off our dock at a depth of less than 5 metres depth or you can go out with our dive boat on a 1 or 2 tank dive. The first dive you will review skills underwater, the second dive you will be taken on a guided dive.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

PADI Emergency First Response (EFR)
The EFR (Emergency First Response) course teaches the basics of first aid and CPR (CardioPulmonary Resuscitation). It is not solely for diving related incidents. The EFR course is designed to qualify you as an Emergency First Responder, and is a qualification recognized worldwide. A current First Aid and CPR certification is a pre-requisite to the PADI Rescue Diver Course, and is very useful training in any walk of life.

The PADI Divemaster Course is the first professional rating in the PADI system. It includes various areas of study including Physics, Physiology, and also Equipment, Skills & Environment.
Your instructor will insure you receive PADI required training including information sessions, progress checks, and the opportunity to discuss and ask questions about your education. You will get to work and train with all shop instructors,including assisting students in classes and logistics.

After you complete your studies, you will take the PADI Divemaster exams based on:

Once finished you will be a certified PADI Divemaster, this allows you to run certain PADI courses such as the Scuba Tune-up and Discover Snorkeling courses. The most important and fun part is supervising certified divers on fundives. Amazing!
