KEVINThe BossLanguages: English, Spanish He first arrived in May of 1994 as an advanced diver and promptly fell in love with the island for its unique charm. Back home in the U.S., he felt like the daily work grind was getting the better of him. He realised that the rats had won the race and left to set up a new life here in Utila. |

I qualified in 2005 in the UK in Stony Cove Quarry in a dry suit and after that experience vowed only to dive in warm waters. Being warm is my number one priority in life. I have travelled extensively and I really miss marmite and live music! I qualified as a divemaster with the fantastic Captain Morgan’s team and as an instructor in 2011, I have been working here ever since. Buena Vida! |

JoDivemasterSweden Languages: Swedish, English. My first visit to Utila was in 2010. I came to this little island to learn how to dive. I completely fell in love with the island and diving, but unfortunately, time was too short. Two years later I came back. This time I had decided to do two things: Complete the Divemaster program and not set a return date. For me diving is addictive, and I can’t imagine a life, or almost a day, without it. . |

JONAHWebmasterUSA Languages: English, Spanglish, French Diving was not originally going to be part of my year to two year trip down through Central America to South America, but when I got to Utila and starting diving with Captain Morgan’s, the love affair began. It didn’t take much suggestion from my new diving friends for me to keep going from Open Water to Advanced, Rescue and on to Divemaster in training, and here I am, loving every underwater meditative minute. This is perhaps the first time I’ve just gone for a hobby full bore and I’m ecstatic that I have. What a blast! |
